GCC free trade deal talks status reviewed

The UAE has taken part in the 124th Ministerial Meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee, held in Kuwait, bringing together the Ministers of Finance of the GCC member states.

Led by Mohamed Bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, the UAE delegation featured Younis Haji AlKhoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance; Ahmed Abdullah bin Lahej Al Falasi, Acting Director-General of Customs and Port Security at the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security; and Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director-General of the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), in addition to senior officials from the Ministry of Finance.

The lantern lights the way in the 26th Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival
The 26th edition of Sharjah Islamic Arts Festival (SIAF) with the theme Siraj (Arabic) or Lantern, will be held from November 19 to January 31, 2026.
