DEWA sees rising turnout of contractors, consultants

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) announced that DEWA approved 127,268 No-Objection Certificate (NOC) applications under its Soqoor programme in 2024. These applications were submitted by 2,390 consultants and contractors as of December 31, 2024, marking a 6% increase compared to 2023.
This rise reflects the growing number of infrastructure projects in Dubai.
The Transmission Power Division approved 67,865 applications, the Distribution Power division approved 41,603 applications and the Water & Civil division approved 17,803 applications.
