Cloudy skies likely today, mercury may drop tomorrow

A slight drop in temperature is expected tomorrow (Saturday) as a result of the country being affected by weak surface pressure systems accompanied by an extension of a high-pressure system in the upper atmosphere, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The maximum temperature ranges between 28 and 44 degrees Celsius and the minimum between 23 and 32 degrees Celsius.
The weather today (Friday) will be clear to partly cloudy and cloudy at times in the east and north but will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some coastal areas. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times at IO to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the waves will be regular in the Arabian Gulf and regular to moderate in the Sea of Oman.
