61 marine violations found in inspection campaign

The Ports Police Station of Dubai Police, in coordination with other authorities, carried out an extensive inspection campaign, resulting in the issuance of 61 marine violations, according to Brigadier Dr. Hassan Suhail Al Suwaidi, Director of the Ports Police Station, indicating that the violations were primarily due to expired licences and non-compliance with approved maritime safety procedures.

Brigadier Al Suwaidi explained that the campaign focused on inspecting maritime vessels and ensuring the implementation of preventive security measures. It also aimed to raise awareness among operators and users, particularly owners of floating restaurants, about the importance of adhering to existing regulations.
