Biju Ninan, Editor, Publisher and Founder, Graymatter, reveals how the Dubai-based media agency's strategic partnership with Gulf News contributed to the dynamic Super100 book series, profiling the UAE and region's inspiring expat Indian business titans

How has Graymatter's longstanding partnership with Gulf News evolved, and what impact has it had on the UAE business community?

Our partnership with Gulf News began in 2022. Before that, our Achievers Volumes 1 and 2 laid the groundwork for the franchise, followed by the first Super100 release in Dubai in 2014, unveiled in the presence of late Sushma Swaraj, then India's External Affairs Minister. Supported by the UAE and Indian government bodies and the media, the series has grown strongly in the post-Covid period. Since 2022, we have produced successive Super100 volumes and themed editions such as Legends, while strengthening both print and digital presence. From next year, we will add video profiling to extend the experience online.

What Gulf News brings is scale, design excellence and distribution certainty. When Graymatter worked alone, reaching key strategic centres was a challenge. Gulf News printing, publishing and distribution now place our books in boardrooms, business parks, trade councils, government sectors and international missions.
