Dubai now in top 10 bucket list destinations for solo travellers

Dubai has added another feather to its cap, solidifying its status as a global tourism powerhouse.

A new survey by long-haul holiday specialist Travelbag revealed that while traditional favourites like Japan and Canada top the list of dream destinations, Dubai is rapidly emerging as a top-tier choice, especially for Britons, who are actively turning their travel dreams into reality.

This shift highlights Dubai's growing appeal, particularly among solo travellers, who are increasingly drawn to the city's unique blend of futuristic luxury and rich cultural experiences, according to the Travelbag survey.

Wish list vs reality

The survey, which polled 1,000 UK travellers, found that a third of Brits (32 per cent) name Japan as their top bucket list destination, followed closely by Canada (31 per cent) and Australia (30 per cent).
