Burjeel profit up 129% as patient numbers surge

Focus on high value services and asset optimisation also help its Q2 financials
Abu Dhabi-based hospital operator Burjeel Holdings secured a substantial 129 per cent profit growth to bring in Dh148 million for second quarter of 2025. Revenues stood at Dh1.4 billion, driven by higher patient numbers and its focus on “high-value services”.
The strong performance was supported by the integration of Advanced Care Oncology Centre in Dubai and the opening of Burjeel Cancer Institute (BCI) clinics in Al Ain, Sharjah, and Oman. These moves were about “reinforcing its position as a regional leader in complex cancer care”.
