Assault: 3 students get community service

The Ras Al Khaimah Second Criminal Court for Juvenile Misdemeanours sentenced sentenced three Egyptian students aged between 15 and 16 to 48 hours of community service at the Emirates Cultural and Sports Club for assaulting a 15-year-old classmate on January 13.

Following an appeal pleading for leniency, the court revised its initial ruling ordering the three boys to be placed in a juvenile facility.

The boys will serve the sentence in four-hour weekend shifts until the end of the academic year.
