LEFT-BACK'S RETURN COINCIDES WITH TOWN'S RESULTS UPTURN
JAYDEN Sweeney prides himself on being a positive influence at Grimsby Town, both on and off the pitch, as he spoke on his recent return from injury.
The left-back was out of action for almost two months after hurting his shoulder early in the Mariners' first round FA Cup tie with Ebbsfleet United on November 1, returning to the starting lineup for the Boxing Day draw with Oldham Athletic.
Coincidentally, or perhaps not, the Mariners have not conceded a goal since his return, keeping three clean sheets in a row in the league as they ended their winless run with back-to-back 1-0 victories.
