OLLIE Horne plundered an unbeaten 67 off only 30 balls to secure an unforgettable three-wicket win for Dumbleton away to Painswick in WEPL Premier Two Glos/Wilts.
-
The visitors went into the final five overs needing 75 runs to make it two from two, but Horne went on the charge in memorable style to bank the points with two balls to spare.
Batting at eight, he smashed five fours and four sixes including a maximum to secure the victory, Indiana Jerram playing a crucial supporting role with 16 off eight in their unbroken stand of 78.
Earlier, opener Dan Holland compiled 107 from 116 (15 fours, one six) and Aaron Tomson hit 72 from 64 before Horne's fireworks.
Painswick, who won the toss, reached 327-7 from their 50 with Luke Woolway top scoring on 105 from 100 (nine fours, five sixes) while there was also a quick-fire unbeaten 76 off 43 from Hampshire's Benny Howell.
