MP urges bosses at leisure centre to solve pool issues

A Somerset MP has demanded urgent action over a string of ongoing issues at Frome Leisure Centre.

A failed boiler, reported poor communication and halted swimming lessons have sparked growing frustration among families.

Anna Sabine, the MP for Frome and East Somerset, is calling on leisure centre operator Fusion to urgently address constituents’ concerns, including lack of clarity over reimbursements, halted swimming classes and a reported silence from the company’s management despite repeated contact.

Despite earlier reassurances from Fusion’s senior management during a meeting organised by Ms Sabine with local councillors, the problems are said to have persisted. The leisure centre’s boiler has failed again, disrupting pool use and leaving customers facing colder water temperatures.
