Markets poised for strong rebound on Monday amid ceasefire

Following India's declaration on Saturday that any act of terrorism will now be treated as equivalent to an act of war, and the subsequent swift retaliatory strikes by the Indian Army on Pakistan the same day—followed by the announcement of a ceasefire between the two nations—strong upward momentum is expected in the Indian stock markets on Monday.

It is anticipated that the Indian stock markets will open with a significant surge on Monday morning.

The success of Operation Sindoor and the news of the ceasefire between India and Pakistan, along with the Indian Army's robust defensive actions on the border—which have effectively incapacitated Pakistan—will instill long-lasting pride among Indians. With the easing of tensions between the two countries, hopes are high that the Indian stock markets will regain momentum. This also raises expectations that Friday's market decline, caused by Indo-Pak tensions, will be reversed.
