Govt's new SOP demands long-term commitment from hospital donors

A new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the medical and health department for donations to government hospitals has stirred a debate over its stringent conditions.
The SOP, released by Principal Health Secretary Gayatri Rathore, lays out detailed guidelines for accepting donations from social organisations, donors and public representatives, aiming to ensure that donated equipment is used effectively and maintained over time.
