Cabinet to mull reforms in land, township rules

The Rajasthan government is set to introduce major reforms in its land allotment and township development policies, with the proposals likely to be tabled in the upcoming Cabinet meeting.
Aimed at boosting transparency and ensuring serious investment, the new Land Allotment Policy mandates that investors must present a bank statement proving availability of at least 20% of the proposed investment to qualify for land allocation. This move seeks to deter speculative proposals & protect public land.
