Nestled in the southernmost tip of Rajasthan, Pratapgarh district is known for its breathtaking natural beauty and rich biodiversity The valleys here, the forest wealth of the Sitamata Wildlife Sanctuary, water bodies like the Bhanwar Semla Dam, Jakham Dam, Deepeshwar talab, Mahi backwaters and traditional stepwells, along with the tribal culture, together create a unique confluenceone that if nurtured, could make the region one of India's prime eco-tourism destinations.

To bring this potential to reality the state government is working with unwavering commitment. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, a major step was taken in the 2025-26 budget with the announcement of a 100 crore 'Tribal Tourist Circuit'.
