In the meeting attended by chief ministers of 24 states and Union territories, Modi observed that global investors are hugely interested in India and encouraged states to utilise this opportunity.

"The government has signed a lot of FTAs, and more are in the pipeline and we need to leverage these. He (PM) wanted states to start thinking on those lines," Niti Aayog CEO BVR Subrahmanyam said in a press briefing, quoting Modi. "We have to increase the speed of development. If the Centre and all the states come together and work together like Team India, no goal is impossible," Niti Aayog said in a post on X, quoting the PM.
