CLOUD KITCHEN STARTUP FreshMenu plans to scale up to 100 cloud kitchens in the next 12 months.
"With optimised operations, a stronger supply chain, and a tech-enabled approach, we aim to penetrate deeper into our existing markets and expand to new cities," Rashmi Daga, founder and CEO, FreshMenu, told FE.
The startup has 72 cloud kitchens across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi at present. It is planning to add 28 kitchens overall and 15 kitchens in two new cities, Hyderabad and Pune, this year.
FreshMenu recently made a foray into fresh packaged products with the launch of hot sauce bottles in Bengaluru. It also plans to introduce a fresh range of sauces and marinades to cater to home cooks.
