New transfer pricing norms to ease burden

A NEW TRANSFER pricing scheme will kick in from FY26, allowing arm's length price (ALP) determination for tax computation for a block of three assessment years, under specific circumstances.
Analysts say this will ease the administrative burdens for both taxpayers, mainly global capability centres (GCCs) and multinational firms, and tax authorities, and streamline compliance, thereby reducing litigation.
