IT'S ONE OF the least aspirational cars in India. I drove the new Renault Triber for over a week in Delhi — the car didn’t get any second glances, nobody asked me what's new in it, and a few even asked if there’s a car named Triber!

So, what is it?

First launched in 2019, the Triber is a forcibly stretched hatchback, with three rows of seating (two in front, three in middle, and two in last row). Last row seats are so tiny that they are either suitable for kids, or for adults you want to punish!

Changes in the 2025 model are substantial—gloss-black grille with new Renault logo, sleek LED projector headlights, new stylised 15-inch wheels, and new colour options such as shades of amber and grey.
