Anil Ambani denies charges

The searches took place at Ambani's residence 'Sea Wind' at Cuffe Parade in Mumbai, sources said. A spokesperson on behalf of the industrialist said Anil Ambani strongly denies all allegations and charges, and will duly defend himself, noting that SBI has already withdrawn proceedings against five other non-executive directors and that "Ambani has been selectively singled out". "The complaint filed by SBI pertains to matters dating back more than 10 years. At the relevant time, Mr Ambani was a non-executive director of the company, with no involvement in the day-to-day management," the spokesperson said.
