THOUSANDS of people will run through the city centre this weekend as the Great West Run takes place on Sunday.

With road closures in place for a few hours, focus will be on those lacing up their trainers and aiming to achieve a good time or complete a personal goal.
Among the throng of people making their way around the city’s streets will be those raising money for charity.
