EXETER City’s women’s walking football team were left stunned when former Grecian Jeff Wood turned up to play alongside them during a tournament in Spain.

The side had travelled to the Malaga region to take part in two competitions — one hosted in the mountain town of Cémpeta and the other down in the valley at Torrox.
But while the heat and competitive fixtures were expected, the presence of the former City goalkeeper was a complete surprise.
