Classical music festival marks its 20th anniversary in style

BUDLEIGH Music Festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a diverse and high-profile lineup, featuring internationally-acclaimed musicians and an inclusive programme of community events.
Taking place from Friday, June 27, to Saturday, July 5, this year's festival brings a celebratory tone to the East Devon town, with 20 concerts spanning classical masterpieces, global rhythms and educational workshops.
Under the artistic direction of Jason Thornton, the festival has cemented itself as a fixture on the classical music calendar and promises an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere for 2025.
Headlining the festival is Sir Stephen Hough, one of the world’s most renowned pianists, who returns following his notable performance at the Last Night of the Proms in 2024.
Also taking to the stage are the London African Gospel Choir, known for their powerful interpretations of gospel classics and their distinctive rendition of Paul Simon’s Graceland.
