COLE PALMER says there will be "no hiding" from England's players after another drab display last night and insists Gareth Southgate's side will be ready to go up a gear when the Euro 2024 knockout stage starts.
England limped into the last 16 with an insipid 0-0 draw with Slovenia that prompted supporters here to turn on Gareth Southgate.

England went through as Group C winners and will find out their last-16 opponents tonight, with a tricky meeting against Holland looking most likely.
