Labour suspends mayor in abuse arrest storm

THE mayor of Hackney has been suspended by Labour after a photo emerged of him partying with a former councillor who had been arrested over child abuse images two weeks earlier.
The image shows mayor Philip Glanville with Tom Dewey apparently at a Eurovision event. It was posted on May 14 last year when the final took place. Dewey was held in a National Crime Agency raid on his Hackney home on April 29 last year, a week before he
