Soldiers' pitstop switch from kilts to combat gear

Soldiers based at Redford Barracks could give an F1 pitstop team a run for its money after their latest switch from ceremonial to operational duties.
Members of Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland (5 SCOTS) had to make a turbocharged transition from kilts to combat kit after taking part in the historic installation of the new Governor of Edinburgh Castle recently. Within 24 hours of the formalities ending, they found themselves in full operational mode as part of a NATO training exercise in Lithuania.
