North Berwick hotel set for refurbishment by new owners

A family-run hotel in East Lothian, which first opened in 1957, is set for a seven-figure revamp, after being acquired by award-winning hospitality operator Buzzworks.
-
The Nether Abbey Hotel in North Berwick has been run by the Stewart family for more than 60 years, but now the hotel will close in mid-January before reopening in late 2026.
