Leonardo warns UK presence at risk over contract

Operations at a defence contractor in Edinburgh could end if a £1bn helicopter contract is not awarded.

The Telegraph reported that Roberto Cingolani, chief executive of Leonardo UK, has warned the Defence Secretary John Healey that the company would rethink its entire UK presence if there was no progress on securing new work for the company's Yeovil factory.
