Forth's presenting team garlanded by university
October 31, 2025
|Edinburgh Evening News
Forth 1 presenters Boogie and Arlene swapped the studio for the stage this week as they were awarded honorary doctorates by Edinburgh Napier University.
The pair, who have built up a devoted following as hosts of Boogie in the Morning, were recognised for their award-winning broadcasting careers and dedication to charitable causes.
The daily breakfast show, which they present alongside Producer Marty, is now broadcast on Forth 1 and across Scotland.
It has drawn widespread industry recognition, beating high profile competitors to win Best Music Breakfast Show at the Audio & Radio Industry Awards in 2024 and 2025.
Following their Thursday morning show, they made the short trip to the Usher Hall, where they were formally made Doctors of the University during a graduation ceremony.
Boogie said: "The ceremony was such a special occasion. We have met so many amazing people today and want to say special thanks to everyone at Edinburgh Napier University."
