DESPITE grey skies and a forecast predicting rain, the spirit of fun and community shone bright at Elizabeth Conradie School's annual Colour Run this past weekend.
The event, held to raise funds for next year's matric farewell, drew close to 100 enthusiastic participants, a strong turnout that exceeded expectations.
Organisers expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming outside support the school received. “Well, under the circumstances or the forecasted rain, we had good attendance. Almost 100 people. There was so much outside support, which is so appreciated,” one of the organisers said.
