|Derby Telegraph
SEVERN Trent has thanked customers who helped save up to 100,000 litres of water per day during 2025's record dry summer.
-
The water company gave away 8,000 free water-saving devices this summer which helped potentially save up to 100,000 litres a day.
Free flow-reducing shower heads, timers and tap inserts were among the devices given away at community events held in Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
The estimated savings of 100,000 litres per day are based on all 8,000 water-saving devices being used by customers.
