WEIGHT-LOSS FOOTIE CLUB SEES A LIGHTER, HAPPIER MARK
A DERBY man has gone from being constantly tired and “hating” the way he looked to a more motivated and confident version of himself.
That's the transformation Mark Mountney has seen since he began his weight loss journey less than 12 months ago with the goal of becoming a healthier dad and carer for his children.
He signed up for the weight loss programme, Man v Fat Football Club, in November, tipping the scales at more than 18 stone.
He was dealing with type 2 diabetes and was keen to improve his health, both physically and mentally, admitting that he “hated” the way he looked.
“I joined for my kids. I want to be around for all seven of them as long as possible” said the 45-year-old.
