Adams leaves Rams to join Pompey

MIDFIELDER MOVES TO CHAMPIONSHIP RIVALS FOR UNDISCLOSED FEE

EBOU Adams has left Derby County to join Portsmouth.

The 30-year-old has signed for Pompey for an undisclosed fee, although the Derby Telegraph understands the Rams have not lost any money on the player.

Adams, who has spent the last two years at Pride Park Stadium after joining first on loan and then on a permanent £500,000 deal a few months later, leaves having played 89 times for the club.

He first arrived on loan from Cardiff City and was a key figure in Paul Warne's Rams side that won promotion to the Championship.
