Madha MP Dhairyashil Mohite-Patil, who has been a vocal opponent of the BJP in Solapur district since the Lok Sabha elections, has now been entrusted with a significant parliamentary responsibility.
He has been appointed as a member of the India~UAE Friendship Committee, a key parliamentary body linked to strengthening India’s foreign relations.
The development has sparked political discussion, as Mohite-Patil had defeated BJP’s Ranjitsinh Nimbalkar in the Lok Sabha election, and since then the district has witnessed an intense “Mohite-Patil vs BJP” political contest.
