BROK Harris believes Western Province have taken a big step forward to breaking their duck in this year's Currie Cup Premier Division after a close 31-24 loss to the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein at the weekend.

Province take on the Sharks in their fifth match on Friday in Durban, with both teams looking for a first win in this season's competition. The Sharks lost 26-17 to Griquas in Kimberley last weekend.
