THE community of Macassar are outraged after the discovery of a still-smouldering body of an unidentified man, burned almost to ashes, on Saturday morning.
The pitch-black body was discovered by community members lying in a landjiie along Kramat Road at around 10am.
When police arrived on the scene they found that the body was still smoking.
Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk confirmed that the circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
