A FAMILY in Seawinds, Lavender Hill, is mourning the death of a teenage boy who was shot and killed on Saturday in what police believes is a gang-related shooting.
The incident took place in St Timothy Street where the 15-year-old was reportedly shot in the head and chest by a suspect on a bicycle.
When the Daily Voice went to his family home, we were informed that his mother had left to go to the mortuary.
A close relative, who did'nt want to be named, said that the incident has left the family distraught. The family member shared: “I cannot say much because I was not at the scene and I did not see what happened, but apparently he was shot in the head.
