Cruise ship docks in Cape Town harbour after stomach flu outbreak caused panic and eina

REGENT Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) have confirmed that stomach flu was a concern when its vessel docked in Cape Town on Monday. A small number of guests were reportedly ill as they reached their destination.

In a response to questions from the Cape Argus, Regent spokesperson James Arnold said all mandatory health protocols were followed, which included the sanitisation of the vessel.

"At RSSC, the health and safety of our guests, crew, and the destinations we visit is our number one priority.

"Some small percentage of the guests on a Seven Seas Voyager sailing which ended in Cape Town, South Africa, have reported symptoms of stomach flu (gastroenteritis).

Cleaning
