Ringo is back on all paws

A GERMAN Shepherd's life was saved by a team of dedicated veterinarians at the Animal Welfare Society of South Africa (AWS) after it had been bitten by a giftige scorpion while playing in his garden.

According to AWS, the local Kaapse dog named Ringo had collapsed and started to have seizures.

He was rushed to AWS where he was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

The AWS explained in a statement: “Ringo, a handsome four-year-old German Shepherd, was happily playing in his garden when tragedy struck without warning.
