'Homeless ou' and jong vrou shot and killed in Portlands

A WOMAN and a man, believed to be homeless, were gunned down on Wednesday evening in Portlands, Mitchells Plain, at a tuck shop.

The incident took place in Golden Gate Way where the 24-year-old woman and the 40-year-old man were gunned down. The female was transported to a medical facility for treatment where she later passed away and the man was declared dead on the scene.

Ben de Vos, uncle of the woman and secretary of the Mitchells Plain Community Policing Forum, said that the 40-year-old man was said to be homeless.
