JEREMIE Frimpong is set to become Arne Slot's eerste signing of the off-season as Liverpool prepare to activate his £29.5 million (R707m) release clause.
The Bayer Leverkusen right wing-back has expressed a strong desire to join the Reds and reunite with fellow Dutch internationals Ryan Gravenberch, Virgil van Dijk, and Cody Gakpo. He has agreed to a five-year deal and will undergo a medical today.
