CHRIS WILDER reckons he might have underestimated the size of the task he has taken on at Sheffield United.

Wilder returned for a third spell in charge at Bramall Lane, and saw for himself the daunting job he faces when the Blades slid to a seventh straight defeat at home to Charlton last weekend.

United sit rock-bottom and are already five points adrift of safety.
