PRINCESS Kate led tributes to Britain's fallen heroes on Armistice Day yesterday - writing a touching message dedicated to those who "made the ultimate sacrifice".

Catherine, 43, was at the Royal British Legion Service of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

She laid a wreath and a handwritten note, which read: "In memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we will remember them. Catherine."

It was the first service the Princess of Wales has attended at the Arboretum.
