The trigger-happy US president claims Washington and Tehran have held discussions about a “total resolution of hostilities”.

He said the US would pause strikes on energy infrastructure for five days after “very good and productive” talks.

The Orange Manbaby previously warned the US would “obliterate their power plants” if Iran does not open the Strait of Hormuz in 48 hours.

But Iran's foreign ministry denied any talks and accused Trump of trying to soothe energy markets and using “psychological warfare”.
