John blasts back at BBC as he is given chop from MasterChef gig

MASTERCHEF star John Torode has blasted the BBC after he was axed last night in a racism storm.

The Aussie star claimed he had not been informed by the Beeb that his contract would not be renewed - effectively firing him.

It comes a day after his shamed colleague Gregg Wallace, 60, also got the push after a damning report into his behaviour.

Torode said: "Although I haven't heard from anyone at the BBC, I am seeing and reading that I've been 'sacked' from MasterChef and I have no recollection of what I'm accused of.
