DOMINIC SOLANKE insists Tottenham have the quality to edge any opponent despite losing 21 games in all competitions this season.

Spurs' penalty hero, who fired Ange Postecoglou's men into the semi-finals of the Europa League on Thursday night, insists the gutsy midweek triumph over Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany must now represent the benchmark for his side.

Ahead of tonight's Premier League meeting with Champions League chasing Nottingham Forest, Solanke said: "On our day we're good enough to beat anyone. It's just about doing that.

"In games like Thursday it's important to produce big performances and big moments and that's what we did."

Determined Solanke, Spurs' £65m club record signing, never once beat himself up over his goal drought.

In his view, his priceless winner from 12 yards was undoubtedly worth the wait, having gone 11 matches without finding the net.
