A PINT at the local is becoming "a luxury" with the cost-of-living crisis "washing away" our cherished pubs, say campaigners.

The jump in price of a bevvy by two fifths in 10 years risks turning the simple pleasure into an extravagance, said the Campaign For Real Ale.
