BAYWATCH star Brooks Nader has been having secret swimming lessons for the TV show. As we recently revealed in the Daily Star, the 29-year-old was not a confident swimmer before bagging a part in the legendary lifesaver series.

Wooden performance: For his role in 2004 movie The Notebook, Ryan Gosling, inset, had to learn how to build furniture from scratch, like his character Noah Calhoun. Some of it, including a dining table he'd made, ended up as real props in the flick.
