Emma apology after rift over Murray finale

EMMA RADUCANU has left the door open to work with Andy Murray again by revealing she has apologised for spoiling his Wimbledon farewell.

Raducanu upset the three-time Grand Slam winner with her late withdrawal from their mixed doubles Wimbledon dream team on the middle Saturday.

The 2021 US Open champion had cited a sore wrist before her fourth singles match.

Playing in the mixed doubles would have been Murray's final appearance at the All England Club and Judy Murray branded the announcement "astonishing".
