LISA Riley reckons soaps will still be on TV in the 2040s.

Many of them have been hit in recent years with Doctors and Holby City getting the axe and Hollyoaks having its number of episodes slashed.

But Lisa, who plays Mandy Dingle on Emmerdale, thinks the genre has a bright future.
